Please see the following article which describes Senator Schumer’s initiative to request that the State Department add Saudi Arabia to the list of religiously intolerant nations.  Together, Senator Schumer and Senator Susan Collins have introduced a resolution in the Senate urging Secretary Powell to designate Saudi Arabia a “country of particular concern” (CPC).   The resolution calls on Saudi Arabia to cease its support of religious ideologies that promote hatred, intolerance, violence, and other internationally recognized human rights.

Please send a note of thanks to Senators Schumer senator_schumer@exchange.senate.gov and Collins senator@collins.senate.gov  for forcing this important issue to the attention of the Senate and the public, and for connecting the dots so that everybody can understand the cause and effect relationship between hate education, packaged as religion, and violence.
