The FOLLOW-UP to the "Human Chain" effort must be to call members of the Knesset and F L O O D them with messages that they should stand firm to stop the Sharon Plan. The decision on Sharon's plan will be made in the Knesset and only in the Knesset. This week is the last week of the current session of the Knesset.

The fact that the Sharon Plan, www.pmo.gov.il,  has NOT passed the Knesset should be emphasized OVER AND OVER, and everyone should memorize the telephone 02 6753333 and call everyone in the NRP, Agudah, Shas and Likud.

Sharon presently has support for his plan from 23 members of The Likud, 20 from Labor  and 14 from Shinui. That makes him four short of 61 to get his plan approved.

Bottom line: people in the Knesset do NOT feel pressured.

That must change immediately. Every member of the Knesset is listed at http://www.knesset.gov.il/ They can be called at any time of day or night. If a  Knesset guard says that the Knesset is closed for the night, simply ask for their answering machine.

Make two messages clear: No to demolition of Jewish communities, as mandated in clause one of the Sharon Plan, and no to supplying military training to the Palestinian security services, as mandated in clause five of the Sharon Plan.

Hundreds of calls to members of Knesset from across the country -- and the world-- will make a difference.
